Personal Philosophy
I sincerely believe that dining should be much more than just cooking and that casual dining should not mean casual service.
A calm, serene and comfortably efficient dining experience will showcase fine food and delight your patrons, bringing them back time and again and, through word-of-mouth, attracting others to your restaurant as no amount of expensive advertising can do.
It all begins with your Host/Hostess, and continues with your wait-staff. I may be able to suggest improvements; I will train your staff in all aspects of food service and customer care, and I will always be sensitive to the individual style of your establishment, and to your own personal vision.
The food industry has evolved over the years, and well-trained servers are essential to the image and success of every fine restaurant. Quality service will emphasize the essential difference between one dining establishment and another.
The public expects skilled service, superb food properly served, appropriate ambiance created with music and decor, a wide selection of fine wines, a variety of food presentations, and overall creativity. We as servers can - and do - make the ultimate difference.
You may have an excellent product and the highest ideals, but if the service is not up to standard, it is not enough, and people will not return.
Your servers must never become complacent in their service. I can help you to impress upon them that combining personality, pride and professionalism will reward both them and your guests. You will soon see improvements in the attitude of your staff and in the response of your customers.
I can help you to achieve these goals.
